Terms of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the sale of wines produced by Bastidon du Marquis. Any order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms.

Article 1. Seller

The wines offered for sale are produced at the Bastidon du Marquis estate, located in Vaison-la-Romaine (84110), France. Product descriptions and photographs are presented with the utmost care. In the event of a minor difference between the presentation and the delivered product (e.g. a vintage change), the seller will inform the buyer.

Article 3. Pricing

Prices are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes (TTC). Shipping costs are displayed separately on our online shop page. The seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but products will be invoiced at the price in effect at the time of order confirmation.

Article 4. Ordering

Orders are placed through the online shop on our website. The buyer selects the desired products, adds them to the cart and proceeds to secure payment. Every validated and paid order constitutes a sales contract between the buyer and the seller. A confirmation email will be sent to the buyer as soon as possible.

Article 5. Age Verification

In accordance with Article L3342-1 of the French Public Health Code, the sale of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age is prohibited. The buyer certifies that they are of legal drinking age at the time of the order. The seller reserves the right to request proof of identity upon delivery.

Article 6. Payment

Payment is made by credit or debit card through the secure Stripe payment platform. Payment is required at the time of the order. No banking data is stored on our website.

Article 7. Delivery

Delivery is available in Metropolitan France and Belgium. Shipping costs are displayed on the online shop page.

Delivery times: 5 business days from order confirmation.

The seller shall not be held liable for delivery delays attributable to the carrier or resulting from force majeure.

Article 8. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has 14 days from the receipt of products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason or pay any penalty.

Products must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition, unopened and unconsumed. Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer. A refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned products.

Article 9. Complaints and Warranty

In the event of a defective or non-conforming product (breakage, wrong product), the buyer must inform the seller within 48 hours of delivery, by email with supporting photographs. The seller will arrange for replacement or refund of the affected product.

Article 10. Consumer Mediation

In accordance with Articles L611-1 and R612-1 of the French Consumer Code, in the event of an unresolved dispute, the consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge.

Article 11. Personal Data

Personal data collected in the course of orders is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The customer has the right to access, rectify and delete their data.

Article 12. Applicable Law

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after failure of the mediation procedure, the competent courts shall be those of Carpentras, France.
